My Commitments to you and our Terms of Service

I am highly passionate and committed to offering a service that is professional, fun and of benefit and value to all that attend.

Please read the Terms of Service carefully before purchasing a product or service.  

Dignity and Respect

My first priority in all my sessions is safety, both physical and emotional. I will create an environment of unconditional acceptance, empathy and authenticity. I will provide the necessary safety equipment for the sessions. Your right to choose how you participate in the sessions will always be respected. You will never be pressured to say or do anything. I believe you are the expert in your own life and have access to all you need to make the right decision for you.

Privacy and Confidentiality

I highly value everyone’s right to privacy and will generally not discuss any personal details with any other person without your specific consent. However, there may be circumstances where am obliged to disclose information about you, including:

  • A child or young person is deemed to be at risk of significant harm

  • There is a risk of significant harm to a worker, client or third party

  • Where a serious crime may have been committed, or there is clear intent to commit a serious crime 

  • Where a Subpoena or Request for Information Exchange has been received and accepted

I will make every effort to discuss each instance with you before disclosing identifying information, unless doing so may increase risk to safety. If you have any questions about this, please talk to me for clarification.

By purchasing a Session from The Art of Loving Kindness, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

These terms of service relate both to the sale of sessions on www.theartoflovingkindness.com or in person and in attendance at The Art of Loving Kindness Studio and events. These terms of service apply to both the original purchaser and any subsequent person who you gifted or transferred the ticket to. 

Cancellations and missed appointments.

I understand that life is not always predictable and always aim to be flexible with appointment times. I do require 48 hours notice of changes to any session and can reschedule appointments for future dates if more then 48 hours notice is given.

Please be advised that I will not be able to refund or reschedule any session appointment if less than 48 hours notice is given for a cancelled or rescheduled appointment.

Our Session tickets are non refundable but can be rescheduled give 48 hours notice.

Our Class tickets are non refundable and can not be rescheduled. If you are aware you will be unable to attend, you may pass your ticket onto someone else you wish to come in your place. Please advise The Art of Loving Kindness prior to your class if you wish to do this.

If we have to cancel a session or a class due to an emergency, you will be notified and will receive a full refund.

Classes may be photographed & the images used in our social media pages. If you do not wish to be photographed please advise us before the commencement of your class.

Gift Cards

Please note Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months, are non refundable and not redeemable for cash.

Refunds and Returns

Any merchandise that is damaged in transit, will be replaced. You have 7 days upon receipt of items to notify us of any damages. We do not refund or exchange merchandise due to change of mind. We will do everything we can to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

Personal Responsibility

When booking a place at one of our sessions or classes for yourself or your child, you agree that you will comply with all safety precautions and recommendations during your visit and neither The Art of Loving Kindness nor our attending staff are not responsible for any injury that may occur to you, your child or children at our premises or during our classes.

In attending The Art of Loving Kindness you agree that we are not responsible for any theft or injury that may occur at our premises or in our classes.

Whilst arriving, attending and leaving the workshops, it is your responsibility to ensure that you maintain and adhere to all safety precautions and requirements during the workshop. The Art of Loving Kindness and the attending staff hold no personal liability or responsibility for any damage, loss or theft incurred to personal property, or any physical injuries obtained during the workshop. By attending a workshop, you agree in holding full responsibility and liability for any damages, injuries to parties involved and physical and/or personal property that may occur during the workshop.

Working with some art mediums can be dangerous and can cause allergic reactions or anaphylaxis. The Art of Loving Kindness will provide safety equipment for the duration of your class but takes no responsibility should you have a reaction to any of the materials in use during your workshop. You agree that you will comply with all safety precautions and recommendations during your visit and neither The Art of Loving Kindness nor our attending staff are responsible for any reaction that may occur to you at our premises or during our classes.

COVID19

Should any COVID restrictions require us to cancel or postpone classes, your ticket will be rescheduled & you will be given priority to book in for your preferred date with available spots or converted to a 12 month credit that can be used to rebook at a later date or book into an alternative class. 

Unless specified otherwise, our sessions and classes are not suitable for young people under 15. We can offer sessions for younger artists wishing to be creative. Please contact us for details as children may need to be accompanied by an adult.
